The 90th celebration of the Precision Machined Products Association (PMPA) in Amelia Island, Florida, held last weekend, was a milestone event for the organization, bringing together 165 members from 76 companies. Amidst the scenic beauty of Amelia Island, this gathering was not just about marking nine decades of excellence but also a time to celebrate the future leaders of PMPA, and one of the standout individuals of the event was Tanya DiSalvo from Criterion Tool.

Tanya DiSalvo’s journey within the PMPA has been nothing short of remarkable. She was recognized for her exemplary service on the board of directors and was elected as 2nd vice president of the organization. Even more exciting is the news that she is poised to be the future president of PMPA for the 2025-2026 term.

The 90th-anniversary celebration was a special event for PMPA members. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with peers and friends in the industry. Notably, 30 first-time attendees, including two new members, were welcomed to the PMPA family during this event. This reflects the continued growth and relevance of PMPA in the industry.

Moreover, the event was graced by the presence of 13 past PMPA presidents. These veterans of the industry provided invaluable insights and wisdom to the attendees, enriching the experience of the 90th-anniversary celebration.

Beyond the professional accomplishments, the event in Amelia Island offered attendees a taste of paradise. The resort was beautiful, the food was fabulous, and although the weather took a little time to cooperate, it eventually did. The idyllic setting allowed attendees to relax and unwind while also providing the perfect backdrop for the serious discussions and decisions made during the business sessions.
